Our Fluid Power division is a leading supplier of high-end customized hydraulic cylinders to Offshore-, Marine-, and Industrial applications. With manufacturing facilities in Denmark, China and USA and a Service & Repair division with facilities in Denmark, China, USA, Singapore and Norway we are able to offer full global service to our global customers.
Our third division Wind Power, located in Silkeborg is a leading global supplier of hydraulic components for the wind turbine industry.
Between the three divisions Hydratech Industries today is a truly global company employing well over 600 people at its different manufacturing, sales and service locations worldwide.
In 2011 AVN Energy in Silkeborg, Denmark was acquired. AVN Energy was a global supplier to the wind turbine industry, designing and producing e.g. pitch brake systems, cooling systems, generators and converters.
With this acquisition we got 25 years of unique knowledge of the very exiting wind turbine market.
HYDRA tech has always sought to strenghten its core competencies and in 2010 we acquired CRC Manufacturing in Alabama, USA, a company with a strong position within industrial hydraulic cylinders.
In 2003 HYDRA tech established production in Suzhou, China in order to meet the demand for larger batches from the Asian markets.
In 1989 HYDRA Tech expanded into offshore and marine and is today a leading global supplier to both industries.
Hydratech Industries Fluid Power began as Nordhydraulic A/S in 1975 in Frederikshavn as a subsidiary of a Swedish company.
In 1993 the majority of shares were taken over by the company’s production manager Bent Soerensen, who changed the name to HYDRA Tech and moved the company to Vraa.
Hydratech Industries Fluid Power has always produced hydraulic cylinders. For many years our primary markets were within truck cranes, forestry machines, construction machinery and agricultural machinery.
AVN Energy established a subsidiary in Suzhou, China.
AVN Hydraulik was divided into AVN Hydraulik and AVN Energy.
AVN Hydraulik established a subsidiary in Bengaluru, India.
AVN Hydraulik (later AVN Energy) has delivered more than 50.000 power packs since the beginning.
